Melo and Chauncey are the only cats who get it. You don't celebrate when you hit a meaningless three in the third quarter and you don't strut and pound your chest after your only home win in the Western Finals. J.R. has game out of this world but he and the rest of the Nuggets (minus Billups and Anthony) have to learn that one moment does not make a champion. Also, K-Mart has played in too many big games to be making stupid fouls and losing his cool. Props to Denver for making the move to get Billups and it is nice to see Carmelo make the big step into the elite but the rest of this sqaud needs to learn that it takes more than skill alone. It's about the right mental attitude. J.R. ain't got it. All due respect to the Nuggets for a great season but that pose by J.R. is the difference between the Lakers and the Nuggets.
