Coby is more than Karl’s son

As a kind gesture for their cancer-stricken coach George Karl, the Nuggets singed his son Coby for the remainder of the season.

While Coby may not be seeing much time this season, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t one of the more intelligent players in the league.

He has bounced around the league, seeing time on the ends of the Lakers and Cavaliers benches. He also played time with the Warriors, but each one of those situations Coby couldn’t fit a role. However, don’t be surprised if Coby not only makes the roster next season but starts stealing playing time from some of the more talented players.

At 6-foot-5, 204 poinds, Coby isn’t the most athletically talented player but what he lacks athletically he makes up with intelligence.

He understands  the game and is a solid shooter, he can also play both guard position and is extremely creative with the ball. Defensively, the main thing he has going for him is his 6-11 wingspan.

Probably the biggest thing he brings to the Nuggets is he plays the game the right ways, something Denver has lacked this season.
