Celtics-Lakers

Once again it is a Boston Celtic-Los Angeles Lakers NBA Finals and so news around the Nuggets and rest of the NBA is a little slow (unless your last name is James, Wade or Bosh). So I guess the only thing left to talk about is the Finals, where the ultimate goal is.

Lakers have had an easy road to the NBA Finals, the Jazz didn’t matchup well with Kobe, Gasol and the Zen Master and the Suns weren’t physical enough to beat the Lakers.

However, the Celtics are aggressive and matchup well with the Lakers and they can make Kobe work. They went into Cleveland and beat the Cavaliers and than they went into Orlando and beat a really hot Magic squad. Now they may continue the tradition and could top the Lakers.

The blueprints for the Nuggets is closer to Los Angeles, due to each teams superstars but they need a more complete package. Role players like Derek Fisher and Lamar Odom are better than the likes of JR Smith and Chris Andersen. Arron Afflalo and Ty Lawson are a good core players, and Anthony Carter comes in does what is asked of him when need be. So the Nuggets do have some solid complimentary players, but they are missing out help in the post and a consistent scorer. Hopefully, this offseason the Nuggets fulfill their needs this offseason.
