And We Are At A Stalemate

On the eve of the All-Star Game, it seems that all/nobody has the cards in the MeloDrama.

Carmelo Anthony, as requested by the Denver Nuggets, met with the New Jersey Nets and came away non-committal to the Nets pitch.

The Nuggets on the other hand are asking that the New York Knicks to add 7-foot-1 rookie center Timofey Mozgov. Which doesn’t make a lot of sense for either team since  Mozgov looks to be a product of Mike D’Antoni’s system.

And while Knicks fans are saying and hoping that when Anthony tells the Nets he won’t sign with them and New York offers a far less trade. But if they do the Nuggets could just refuse to trade Anthony and hold him for the rest of the season or send him to a far less team and he misses out on the extension, which nobody wants.

So as the MeloDrama looms to a close there is a stalemate between Anthony, the Nuggets and Knicks.
