Afflalo Out For Game 1

The Denver Nuggets were dealt a big blow Sunday morning as starter Arron Afflalo won’t be able to play in the first game of the playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Afflalo, who is nursing a hamstring injury, missed 13 of the Nuggets final 18 games and also the final two games against the Thunder. He is hoping to rest the injury so he can play Game 2 on Wednesday.

In place of him, Wilson Chandler will get the start and will spend time guarding both of the Thunder best players – Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
