Gallo MVP of Acropolis Tournament; Chandler playing in Italy

Despite the NBA being on the verge of being locked out, Danilo Gallinari isn’t wasting any time developing his game.

Gallinari was chosen the MVP of the Acropolis Tournament after scoring 23 points to help Italy beat Greece 82-81.

In the same tournament Kosta Koufos scored 10 points in a losing effort to the Bulgarian team.

Restricted free agent Wilson Chandler will join his current teammates in Europe after he signed with Italy. Chandler signed to play a couple of months in Italy, after which the two parts will evaluate the situation and also where the NBA is with the lockout.

There is semi-good news with the NBA lockout, because the two squads will meet next week for the first time since July 1.
