Lawson To Play Against Heat

Denver Nuggets’ Ty Lawson, who missed Wednesday’s game against the New Jersey Nets, will return to action Friday night to face the Miami Heat.

Ira Winderman from the South Florida Sun Sentinel tweeted that George Karl said that Lawson, Danilo Gallinari and Nene are all good to go against the Heat.

Lawson, who missed the last game with right foot strain, participated in shootaround and looked much better.

Nene was battling a heel injury, but was able to play 30 minutes in the last two games. He did show rust in both games scoring nine points in both contests.

Gallinari had to sit out the end of Wednesday’s game with a sprained ankle.

The Nuggets and Heat tipoff at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
