Lawson In Line To Get Extension

After being the driving force the Denver Nuggets as they forced a Game 7 with the Los Angeles Lakers, Ty Lawson will be looking at a major pay raise before the end of the summer.

According to Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post, the Nuggets will try to work out a contract extension with Lawson over the summer.

The Nuggets signed an extension with Danilo Gallinari worth $42 million for four years and it wouldn’t be out of the question for Lawson to get an extension similar to Rajon Rondo’s, who signed a $55 million for 5 year extension with the  Boston Celtics in 2009.
