The Denver Nuggets are a step closer in wrapping up their offseason.

The Nuggets re-signed JaVale McGee to a reported 4-year deal worth $44 million.

There were reports that Denver offered him a 5-year deal worth around $55 million, but this deal gives both McGee and the Nuggets more flexibility.

McGee was traded to the Nuggets in March for veteran big man Nene and averaged 10.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 20 games after the trade. He started five games after the trade.

In the playoffs he average 8.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks.

If you haven’t checked it out, here are a few tweets that McGee threw out after signing the deal.
