2013-14 Denver Nuggets Tickets Preview: Top 5 Home Games

Last season injuries ended the Nuggets season prematurely as they were upset in the first round of the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors. This season the Nuggets will look to regroup under new head coach Brian Shaw. The Pepsi Center in Denver has always been one of the league’s top home-court advantages and this year Denver Nuggets tickets are currently averaging $93, which is a surprising 37% drop below last year’s home average of $149.

1) December 30, 2013 – Miami Heat – Avg Price: $179 | Get-in Price: $44

It will be a primetime matchup in Denver this season when the Miami Heat head to the Pepsi Center in late December. Ticket prices for this contest against LeBron James and the two-time defending champs are currently averaging $179 per seat. This number represents an 87% increase above this year’s home average. On the low end, fans can get-in to the game for as low as $44.

2) March 7, 2014 – Los Angeles Lakers – Avg Price: $160 | Get-in Price: $15

The Los Angeles Lakers make a visit to Denver at the Pepsi Center in early March, which probably means superstar guard Kobe Bryant will play. Denver Nuggets tickets for this game against the Lakers are being sold at an average of $160, 72% above their home average. You can find cheaper tickets on the secondary market for as low as $15, which for a Lakers game is quite affordable.

3) March 17, 2014 – Los Angeles Clippers – Avg Price: $154 | Get-in Price: $17

The Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers are two evenly matched teams in the Western Conference and tickets are averaging $154 when Chris Paul and Blake Griffin come to the Pepsi Center in mid-March. The $154 price is 47% increase above the average price, and the get-in price is currently $17.

4) November 29, 2013 – New York Knicks – Avg Price: $125 | Get-in Price: $18

In late November Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks make their only trip to the Pepsi Center. Ticket prices for this game are currently averaging $125 per seat with an $18 get-in price. The $125 is 34% above the average price of Nuggets tickets. However, it still 8% cheaper than when the two teams met last year.

5) February 3, 2014 – Los Angeles Clippers – Avg Price: $120 | Get-in Price: $14

The first meeting between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers will take place in early February.
