Tonight the Denver Nuggets take on the Utah Jazz at home. The Nuggets are coming off of a road trip where they went 4-2. The Jazz come into this one after a blow out win over the Sacramento Kings. There is some concern for the Nuggets being tired after a long road trip to start the month, but they should be able to take care of the lowly Jazz.

The difference for the Nuggets all year has been their depth. They have one of the deepest benches in the league, and Brian Shaw has utilized the it well. Although there isn’t any true “all star” players the Nuggets have beat teams this year with good all around team basketball. It should be no different tonight against the Jazz, and the Nuggets will look to extend their home winning streak.

A big factor for the Nuggets in tonights game will be the return of point-guard Ty Lawson. Lawson has been the Nuggs best player thus far, and is averaging 19 points and 8 assists per game. Getting him back is huge, but the hope is that he is not rushing back. Hopefully, Lawson is able to return and avoid any further injury and lead the Nuggets to another win.

The Jazz have only 5 wins on the season, and have lost 4 of their last 5. Gordan Hayward has been a bright spot for the Jazz in their disappointing season. He is averaging 16 points per game and is the future of the organization. He could give the Nuggets some trouble tonight, but that’s about all we should be nervous about.

This game should be an easy win for the Nuggets, but I can see it being close only because of the tough road trip. The Jazz have momentum coming off of a blow out win, and the Nuggets could be tired. However, I see the Nuggets coming out with the win with a final score of 105-100. Please check out our live game thread and follow along on twitter for updates.
