The Denver Nuggets have made it three wins in a row. They defeated the Boston Celtics tonight by a score of 129 to 98. It appears that the Nuggets have completely busted out of their slump, and are now playing great basketball. The best part of this streak is that the team is scoring a lot of points. Also, the Nuggets were able to even their record at 17-17. The Nuggets have been a streaky team all year, but let’s hope this streak is a long one.

The Nuggets starters were phenomenal in the win tonight. A player that I said needed to step up was Randy Foye, and he did just that. He led all scorers with 23, as he hit 7 three pointers. Kenneth Faried also had a big game. The forward had 21 an 13 and was nearly impossible to stop. It is a great sign that the Nuggets starting line up is coming together. It appears that the team is jelling offensively, and the result has been 100’s of points. It is important to note that Ty Lawson continued his dominant ways. He finished with 19 and 13. It is becoming an every night occurrence for Lawson to finish with a double-double.

As I said in the game preview, this is a very different Celtics team. They seem to be in “tank” mode, and maybe that’s why they have dropped 5 in a row. Regardless of the reason, they did not put up much of a fight against the Nuggets tonight. They were led by Jeff Green who finished with 17. Also having a good game for the Celtics was Brandon Bass who had 15 points and 7 rebounds. The Celtics are struggling and it does not seem like they will be winning many games in the future.

This is an exciting time Nuggets fans. The team is streaking in the right direction this time. Brian Shaw has somehow figured out what was going on with the team and I believe that many more wins should be ahead. If the starters can continue to play well, why can’t they keep winning? Up next for the Nuggets are the Oklahoma City Thunder this Thursday. Be sure to check in for news surrounding the game here!
