The Denver Nuggets take on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at home. The Nuggets come into tonights game with a ton of emotion and momentum since they just beat the Los Angles Clippers the other night on a buzzer beater by Randy Foye. The Bucks come into this game following a win over the Knicks, but they have lost 8 of this last 10 games. The Bucks are the worst team in the NBA this season, and this should be an easy win for the Nuggets.
The Nuggets got a huge game from Kenneth Faried against the Clippers, and he is a huge difference maker. He scored a career-high 28 points, and when he can score the Nuggets always seem to play well. All year Denver has been missing a big man presence and Farieds big game has to get fans excited. Hopefully, he has more game like that in store, and the Nuggets will have a solution for their big man issue.
Ty Lawson and Randy Foye have been a really fun back-court to watch this season and I expect them both to have great games. Lawson, has been steady this season and he will likely have the best game for Denver. He should be able to score the ball easily and also be able to set his teammates to score as well. Randy Foye won the game in front of Fans against LA, and he has to be feeling a ton of confidence right now. I look for Foye to contribute in a big win tonight as he will likely be very effective from behind the arc.
The Bucks, who were expected to compete this year, have been flat-out awful. However, they have been led by newly acquired Brandon Knight who is averaging 16 points per game and 4 assist. O.J. Mayo has been disappointing in his first season with the team as he is only averaging 12 points. The Bucks are young and appear to be tanking for the stacked draft class that is coming up next season.
This should be an easy win for the Nuggets at home tonight. They are coming off of a huge win but have struggled against bad teams. I’m predicting a blow out for the Nuggs and I have them winning by a score of 116-101. Be sure to follow along online and on twitter @Nugg_Love.
