JaVale McGee Likely Out The Rest Of The Season

The Nuggets are most likely going to be without another big man for the remainder of the season. McGee has been out for most of the season due to a fractured leg. News has came out recently that his leg is not healing properly and that he is having complications. The news is awful considering that Danilo Galinari has already been ruled out for the year. Injuries have hit the Nuggs hard this year, and a legitimate big man presence is definitely a reason as to why they have struggled so much.
McGee played in 5 games this season and he was pretty disappointing. He was averaging 7 points per game and just 3 rebounds. Clearly he wasn’t lighting the world on fire with his play before the injury, but the Nuggets need his presence. McGee will be back next year thanks to former G.M. Masai Ujiri who signed him to a 4 year #44 million deal. Yikes. Anyway, there is still a chance McGee can return this year but that seems like a long shot at this point.
