Recently, there has been reports that Kenneth Faried could be on his way out of Denver. The forward has struggled greatly for much of the season. He is averaging just 10 points and 7 rebounds per game. Faried is known for his energy on the court, but he has not be an impact for the Nuggs at all this year.

Faried has been poor at defending in the post, and he had contributing to their horrendous play on the defensive side of the ball. Sure, he has come up with some big plays, but he has not been consistent. The Nuggets have clearly been unhappy with is play, and that is exactly why he has been made available for trade.

The Nuggets need to figure out what they want to do with this season. They need to decide if they are going to try and compete for the last spot in the West or if they want to give up on the year. If they do decided to give up on the year to try and get a better draft, then moving Faried becomes much more likely. Faried is due for a new contract, and the Nuggets simply don’t think he will be worth the money he will be asking for at the moment. Be on the lookout for more rumors surrounding Denver as they will also be looking to trade point-guard Andre Miller.
