Well, the Denver Nuggets have seen better days. The team has been playing terrible lately and they are stumbling into the break. The Nuggets have lost 4 straight and are struggling to score points. The way they have been playing lately has been odd because earlier in the season when they were losing they were putting up a ton of points. Now, the Nuggets are without their best player, and simply can’t outscore their opponents.

Last night, the Nuggets lost to the T-Wolves 117-90. The starters scored just 44 points, and the man I said needed to step up didn’t. Kenneth Faried scored only 6 points. He is really struggling and he is also beginning to hurt the team. The Nuggets do not have a true big man at the moment and Faried has failed to step up when they need him most. Randy Foye has 10 points but he shot 3-12 from the field. Clearly it was another ugly scoring performance and the Nuggets offense is struggling without Lawson.

Their were some bright spots however. Evan Fournier has 13 off the bench and Jordan Hamilton had 16. The bench has not produced like it did in the beginning of the season, but it was nice to see the guards step up. The Timberwolves on the other hand had no trouble scoring the rock. Kevin Love their all-star dropped 32 points on the Nuggs. The ex-Nugget Corey Brewer, made his old team regret not signing him as he scored 22 points.

The Nuggets have been really hard to watch lately. The injures have been a huge part of their struggles but now they can’t score the ball. Hopefully, Ty Lawson can return after the break and get back to his old self. The Nuggets are now off until the 18th when they take on the Suns. All the team can do now is re-group and try to get things together with their time off.
