Nuggets break 5 game losing streak with win over Bucks

The Denver Nuggets came into their game against the worst team in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks, on a 5 game losing streak.  And as they have to many other teams in the League this season, the Bucks turned out to be just what the Nuggets needed to get off the Schnied and back on the winning track taking down the homestanding Bucks 101-90.  The Nuggets were led by a resurgent Kenneth Faried who apparently found his alter ego “The Manimal” on this night as he went off for 26 poits and 6 rebounds along with providing energy and athleticism that had been missing during the losing streak.  Randy Foye, playing point guard once again with Ty Lawson still nursing his sore ribs and newcomer Aaron Brooks on an airplane to Chicago, led the offense notching 10 assists and only 4 turnovers on the night.  The Nuggets only had 8 players available for the game due to injuries and the trades they made at the deadline not completed due to the requirement of all parties taking a physical before the deal was finalized.  The Bucks weren’t in a much better situation as they had been busy at the deadline and only had 10 players available for the game.  Faried got help from many of his teammates as 5 Nuggets scored in double figures including Wilson Chandler with 15, J.J. Hickson and Timofey Mozgov with 14 and Foye chipped in with 12.  Hickson also led the team in rebounding with 10 on the night.  The energy for the Nuggets was sufficient to put away an inferior foe but they will need to bring more of the same and then some tonight as they visit the Bulls in Chicago on the second of back to back games.  A win is a win even if it is against the worst team in the league and the Nuggets will take it.  If they can get the players they acquired in trades on Thursday on board, maybe they can start a run of good play that can get them back into the playoff race.  Follow your Nuggets @Nugg_Love
