The Denver Nuggets will take on the Dallas Mavericks tonight at 8:00. The Nuggs have been struggling immensely, and come into the game on a 6 game losing streak. Thankfully, Ty Lawson has returned to the team, and the hope is that he will help steer the young club into the right direction. As for the Mavs, they have won 5 of their last 8 games.
The Nuggets are struggling bad right now. They can’t seem to beat anyone, but has their savior arrived? Ty Lawson is back, and fans finally have something to be excited about. He looked just like himself when he returned the other as he posted 31 points and 11 rebounds. Sadly, the Nuggets need others to play good as well. Players I’m looking to step up tonight are Kenneth Faried, and Aaron Brooks. I see both of them steeping up and leading the Nuggets to victory.
The Mavericks are going to be without Dirk Nowitzki tonight. Also, he is going to be out for at least 12 weeks since he is going to need back surgery. Clearly, he is a major part of their offense and he is going to be missed. The player the Nuggets are going to need to shut down is Monta Ellis. Ellis is scoring 19 a game, but shoots the ball way too much. If the Nuggets can shut him down, I think the Nuggets have a very good chance of wining this game.
The Nuggets will win tonights game. The Mavs are without Dirk, and they can shut down Ellis. If Ty Lawson can play as well as he did against the T-Wolves, I see him leading the team to victory. I’m predicting a Nuggets win by a score of 124-119. Look for the Nuggets to get back to their high scoring ways as soon as tonight.
