The Denver Nuggets are set to visit the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 8:30. The Nuggets are in the middle of a tough stretch and are coming off of a loss to the Thunder. The schedule is brutal, and they Nuggs are playing the Spurs at a terrible time. The Spurs are winners of 14 straight and showing the rest of the west that they are ready for another title run. Hopefully, the Nuggets can give them a run an keep this game close.

Ty Lawson needs to be himself if the Nuggets want to win this game. He must match Tony Parkers numbers and keep the Nuggets in the game. If Lawson can go for 20 and 10 the Nuggs will have a shot. Kenneth Faried must try and stop Tim Duncan. He also has to contribute on offense, but the Nuggets will need more help. A player I will look to step up in this game is Randy Foye. Foye has cooled off incredibly and the Nuggets need his 3 point shooing to turn back up.

The Spurs have so many weapons. Clearly Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili are the leaders on this veteran team. The Nuggets first priority has to be stop them first, but theres more trouble. Kwahi Leonard and Danny Green are the other parts of the puzzle of San Antonio. Every player on this Spurs roster is dangerous, and you can bet they are going to be giving the Nuggets trouble all night long.

If the Nuggets want to win tonight a few things have to happen. The first thing that has to happen is Ty Lawson and Randy Foye lead the Nuggets in scoring. Denver will ned 3’s and these are the guys who can provide them. Also, the Nuggets will need one of the Spurs big 3 to struggle, and they also need to shut down their bench. I’m predicting a Spurs win by a score of 114-107. Be sure to follow along for updates.
