The Nuggets lost to the Spurs once again but this time it was a blow out. The first game was just a 5 point loss, but this time around the Nuggets simply couldn’t hang around. The loss is the Nuggs 3rd in a row, but you can’t blame them. They are in the middle of a brutal stretch, but things could be looking up soon. The Nuggets are obviously out of playoff contention, but there is still hope for the future.

Randy Foye led the Nuggets in scoring with 20 points. Foye finally busted out of his slump to hit 4 three pointers. He has been missing for the Nuggets offense and it was nice to see him get his act together. Ty Lawson had an off night which is rare for him. Lawson had just 13 points and 5 assist. The off night is okay since Lawson has been so steady all season.

The Spurs won their 16th straight game. Macro Belinelli scored 27 points in the game and was the hardest player to stop. Also having a big game for the Spurs was of course Tim Duncan. The Veteran scored 20 points and ripped 8 rebounds. Kahwi Leanord pitched in with 14 points and the Spurs showed just how a championship team plays. The Spurs seem to be well on their way to another Finals appearance.

The Nuggets have played some hard teams, but things will get better. They have been decimated by injuries, and now Wilson Chandler is expected to miss some time. The Nuggets will continue to fight on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Hopefully they can turn things around and get back on the winning side of things. Be sure to follow along for game updates.
