Tonight the Denver Nuggets will take on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Nuggets come into tonights game on a 3 games losing streak, but have faced very tough opponents. As for the Grizzlies they come into the game on a 2 game losing streak but are in playoff contention in the West. Clearly they are favored to beat the Nuggs tonight, but look for Denver to keep it close and give them a run.

The Nuggets will once again be without Wilson Chandler. Chandler is battling a groin injury, and has not been productive for the Nuggets this season. A player that needs to step up for the Nuggets is Randy Foye. Foye needs to provide some 3 pointers that the Nuggets have been lacking. Also, look for Ty Lawson to bounce back. Lawson had a rare off game the other night against the Spurs and I am interested to see how he will respond to his off game.

Zach Randolph will be a problem all night long. Kenneth Faried will need to stop up and help get some stops if the Nuggets are going to want to win this one. He is averaging 17 points per game and is one of the main reasons that they are in contention to make the playoffs. Mike Conley vs. Ty Lawson is going to be a joy to watch. The young guards have similar styles, and I can’t wait to see them go against each other all night.

The Nuggets are primed to steal one against the Grizzlies tonight. They are coming off of a few losses, but they were against some of the top teams in the West. Look for the Nuggets to keep this game close and eventually take over and win. I am predicting a Nuggets win by a score of 112-107. Be sure to follow along for updates.
