Coming to Nugglove: The 20 Greatest Nuggets of Alltime

Now that Nuggets season is over, there isn’t much information to put on Nugglove.  With that being said, I, Eric Meyer, have decided to do a 23 part series on my greatest Nuggets of all time.  Keep in mind, this will just be my opinion, and many of the long-time Nuggofiles out there may have a different list than I will, but this may generate some nice debate about the greatest players that ever wore the “Rainbow Warriors”, Powder Blue” or the various other uniform designs the Nuggets have had over the years.  As I submit my list, please don’t hesitate to comment and give your opinion on my list as it gets going.  I will try and do at least 3 players a week starting with my No. 20 All-Time Nugget and finishing with my All-Time Nuggets player.  After the completion of the 20 greatest players, I will be doing a 3 part series on the Greatest Coaches in Nuggets History as well.  “Only a 3 part series on Nuggets Coaches”? you say?  Well, there are really only 3 Coaches that are worthy of this list aren’t there?  Do you expect me to put Mike D’Antoni on the list? Bob Bass? Donnie Walsh? Paul Westhead? Jeff Bzdelik?  Or maybe you really like Alex Hannum, Bernie Bickerstaff or Bill Hanzlik.  I didn’t think so.  So it’s going to be 3 coaches and you can probably name them already.  But what order will I put them in?  So stay tuned to Nugglove and I will begin my list in the next couple of days and continue until I get to the Number 1 player and coach (In my opinion) in Nuggets history.  I hope you enjoy this as it will be a lot of fun for me to write.  I have been a Nuggets fan since 1975 so I have seen each and every coach and player on my lists in action either in uniform or on the Nuggets Bench.  Even though it is the offseason, continue to follow us on Twitter @Nugg_Love!
