The Denver Nuggets and forward Kenneth Faried are talking about a possible extension. Just months after wanting to trade him, the Nuggets now want to lock him up to a long term deal. The Nuggets GM Tim Connely said this on the situation.

"I think Kenneth is happy here. I think he’s really embraced what (Coach) Brian (Shaw) is trying to instill. Those are the type of guys that deserve to get paid.”"

The Nuggets would love to keep him around and I completely agree that he deserves to be paid. Faried ended the season on a tear and proved why the Nuggets did not trade him at last years deadline. Faried averaged 13 points per game to go along with 8 rebounds this past season. An extension will likely cost the Nuggets a good amount of money, but the big man is worth every penny.
