In his first season as a head coach, Brian Shaw led the Nuggets to 36-45 record. It was a disappointing season to say the least, but overall Nuggets fans like Shaw. Fans are smart enough to realize that the lost season was not Shaw’s fault, but that the blame goes to the many injuries the team suffered through. Lately, there has been rumors swirling around Brian Shaw and the New York Knicks coaching opening. Shaw had this to say on the matter.

"I have a job here in Denver that I’m happy with. Though the season didn’t turn out how any of us would have liked, I’m happy where I am, and I’m looking forward to coaching a full complement of healthy players. I’m not interested in doing anything than what I’m doing now.”"

Shaw has been linked to the job due to his connections with Jackson when he was with the Lakers. However, it appears the Shaw remains set on coaching in Denver, so there is no reason to panic. The Nuggets job is more attractive to Shaw since they have a young core build around as opposed to the Knicks who just have Carmelo Anthony, who isn’t even guaranteed to stay. There is no reason to speculate any further since Shaw has made it clear that he wants to be no where else but Denver.
