J.J. Hickson Set To Return In January

The Nuggets were hit with many injuries last year and just when they thought things were going to get better J.J. Hickson torn his ACL. Last year for Denver Hickson averaged 11 points and 9 rebounds per game. He was a starter for most of the year, but found himself bouncing back and forth in the starting lineup with Timofey Mozgov.

Hickson is a part of the Nuggets core for sure going forward. They need him to recover as soon as possible so that he can get on the court for Denver. The Nuggets big-men struggled mightily last season and they will need Hickson if they want to bounce back from last year. The recent reports are that Hickson has been rehabbing and is setting January as his return date. If this is true, Nuggets fans will get to see Hickson for a good junk of the season and he will be a major help for Denver’s future.
