J.J. Hickson has been out since March 21st with a torn ACL. The injury came as a major blow to the Nuggets since they had already two key players go down with the same injury. Hickson was finally producing for the Nuggets and was becoming a consistent double-double player. He recently had this to say about his recovery.

"“My rehab is going great, I’ve got a good spirit about myself right now. I’m in a good place … I don’t think I was ever down. It still hasn’t hit me that I tore my ACL, but I know what I’m dealing with and I’m ready for the challenge.”"

It sounds like the youngster is professing great n rehab and that is a great sign for the Nuggets. They will need him to get out on the court as quickly as possible. However, depending on how long it takes him to return Hickson could see his minutes decrease next season.
