Danilo Gallinari is progressing well in his rehab from his torn ACL. He is completely on track and is set to be ready for the Nuggets training camp. Gallinari missed the entire season this year, and this was a major blow to the Nuggets. For a while now, Gallinari has been in Italy working on rehab and getting back into basketball shape.

He recently told the Denver Post that he is coming along nicely with his rehab. Here is what he had to say.

"“Everything is going very well, I was able to play with the basketball, finally, like I wanted to my last week in Denver. I was glad that (Nuggets strength coach) Steve (Hess) gave me a little fun in the rehab for the last week. The goal is to be ready to play by training camp. I’m very excited inside, but I don’t want to show it too much. The fire I have this year, I’ve never had before. I’m very, very excited.”"

Things appear to be going great for Gallinari. Although playing last year definitely hurt the Nuggets it was probably the best idea. Last year was a lost season for the Nuggs so holding him was the best thing for him. Now, Gallinari is more than ready to return next year and he is going to bring an added intensity. The Nuggets are hoping that Gallinari can be ready for the start of the season and make an immediate impact in the starting lineup.
