Nuggets And Bulls To Swap Picks?

The NBA draft is getting closer and closer and the rumors are beginning to heat up. The Nuggets are in a tough position as they are picking 11th, and it appears that they do not have one guy they are set on picking. There has been rumors that they Nuggets might be looking to trade the 11th pick for a veteran.

The Nuggets may be thinking that they are ready to win now. By moving their pick this year for a player that will start could lead to immediate dividends for the Nuggets.

The latest rumors that are going around are that the Nuggets and Bulls could swap draft picks. The Bulls own the 16th and 19th picks in this years draft. A deal like this would allow the Bulls to move up and get a player that they really like. Players that they might be targeting could be Nik Stauskas or Garry Harris.

The Nuggets could be looking to add some depth for the future. Tim Connelly seems to think players from 11-20 have the same value. Making this move would give the Nuggets two good players, but not a player who could make an impact right away.

The Nuggets have a lot of options. They can either stay put, deal for more picks, or trade for a veteran. Everything depends on what exactly the Nuggets brass expects from this team. In my opinion, staying put is the best option. The Nuggets need to grab the best guard available and give Ty Lawson as much help as possible in the backcourt.
