The Denver Nuggets had a very busy draft day yesterday and the analysts are giving their opinion on the Nuggets moves all over the internet today.  In a recap of the Draft Day winners and losers, Probasketballtalk’s Kurt Helin said that the Nuggets were his “biggest winners on draft day”.  I definitely agree with Helin’s take on the Nuggets moves yesterday.  Getting Afflalo back gives them outside shooting and the perimeter defender they haven’t had since they traded Afflalo to the Magic for Andre Igoudala and I think Gary Harris is a terrific draft value with the 19th pick.  Harris could get significant minutes for the Nuggets next season.  I’m not sure the Nuggets are done making moves either.  I think the next few days before free agency begins on July 1st could be very interesting for our Denver Nuggets.  Let me know what you think of the Nuggets Draft in the comments below.

Here’s Helin’s take on the Nuggets draft day moves:

"Winner, Denver Nuggets. They were my biggest winners on draft day. Over the course of Thursday they turned Evan Fournier, Doug McDermott and a second round pick into Arron Afflalo, Gary Harris — maybe the steal of the draft after he fell to 19 — and potential future big man Josef Nurkic (stashed in Europe for a couple years). Two guard was the Nuggets weak spot 24 hours ago, no more. The Nuggets got better without giving up much."
