The Denver Nuggets and point-guard Chauncey Billups might be talking a re-union. According to reports, he has been meeting with Nuggets reps to talk about his next career move. Last season, he played for the Detroit Pistons where he averaged 3.8 points per game. Obviously, he isn’t getting the minutes that he once did in his career, but brining him back to Denver wouldn’t be such bad move.

The Nuggets are currently in need of a back-up point-guard and Billups would be great. He is a veteran presence that the team needs. While he wouldn’t be playing anymore than 10-12 minutes per game his coaching to the youngsters would be huge help. Aaron Brooks might not be retuning to the Nuggets so this signing could make sense. Stay tuned for more updates on a possible deal with Billups.
