It was a widely held belief in NBA circles that when LeBron James signed with Cleveland that his old friend Mike Miller would join him with the Cavaliers.  New reports have surfaced today that say the Nuggets are still in the running for Miller’s services and that the Rockets and Mavericks have joined the fray as well.  The Nuggets are reported to have offered Miller the most money and that could be a huge factor in where Miller chooses to play but the Nuggets aren’t considered as much of a contender as the other 3 suitors.  Miller would fit in beautifully with the Nuggets right now as he would add a 3 point shooting threat who stayed healthy for the first time in several years last season with the Memphis Grizzlies.  He is also a veteran player who won a couple of rings with the Heat when he played with James.  It appears his stock has risen since James took his talents back to northeastern Ohio and that may give the Nuggets a leg up on the other teams vying for his services because they have the most money to offer.  Stay tuned because I think we will find out soon where Miller has chosen to play.
