I love the pick of Jusuf Nurkic more and more each day. The Nuggets selected him with the 16h overall pick in the draft, and still got their man Gary Harris. Nurkic was unsure if he would play for Denver this season, but he was finally bought out by his team. Currently, he is playing in the under 20 euro championships for Bosnia, and he is balling.

Nurkic is averaging 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game so far. Those are outstanding numbers, and if he can translate those to the NBA then the Nuggets will have a steal. Nurkic’s team is 5-0 and they are winning games by an average of 34 points per game. The Nuggets just might have drafted a leader and dominate big-man. Although it will be hard to find playing time right away for Nurkic, he is showing great promise.
