Are any of you folks avid Fantasy Basketball players?  I play fantasy basketball on ESPN and Yahoo.  ESPN already has their 2014-15 rankings out.

Here is how the ESPN has ranked our Denver Nuggets:

  • #24 Ty Lawson (the 10th point guard on the board)
  • #63 Aaron Afflalo (the 10th shooting guard on the board)
  • #66 Kenneth Faried (the 10th power forward on the board)
  • #83 Wilson Chandler (the 15th small forward on the board)
  • #90 Randy Foye (the 16th shooting guard on the board)
  • #103 JJ Hickson (the 20th power forward on the board)
  • #107 Danilo Gallinari (the 18th small forward on the board)
  • #145 Timofey Mozgov (the 24th center on the board)
  • #176 JaVale McGee (the 31st center on the board)
  • #201 Nate Robinson
  • #333 Darrell Arthur
  • #828 Quincy Miller
  • no ranking for Gary Harris

Of the 9 point guards ahead of our Ty Lawson, 6 of them are in the Western Conference.  3 of those are on the Phoenix Suns.  Even if one the Suns guards move to the Eastern Conference, one can see why it’s soo hard for Ty Lawson to earn an All Star nomination.

If Danilo Gallinari is healthy, he easily jumps over Wilson Chandler in the rankings.  If Kenneth Faried stays within his limited shooting range, he could stay ahead of Danilo Gallinari in the rankings.
