Mozgov: I Would Like To Play With LeBron

Uh oh. It appears that the feeling between Timofey Mozgov and the Cleveland Cavs is mutual. It has been well known that the Cavs have been after Mozgov, but the Nuggets haven’t been budging. Reportedly, there has been talks for a few weeks but nothing has come from them.

Now, Timofey Mozgov claims that he would like to play with LeBron and the Cavs. This is not good news for the Nuggets because a deal could become more likely. The Nuggets have a bunch of centers so moving one would make sense. However, Mozgov is a valuable piece for the Nuggets future, and losing him would hurt.

This is what he told russian reporters. 

"“I would like to play with LeBron. But even though playing for a contender is cool, you got to understand that I want to be part of the team and not to just join a contender and ride the coattails, being a burden.”"
