Ty Lawson: Don’t Sleep On Nuggets

Obviously the Nuggets didn’t have the best season last year. They were hit with many injuries, but they also showed potential in several areas. Ty Lawson, who busted out for a huge season, had some encouraging words about the Nuggets season next year.

He told Kurt Helin this.

"“People are probably going to sleep on us this year because of what happened last year. his year it’s going to be more of a defensive mindset. I already know we can score, everybody knows we can score with the best of them. But my mindset going into training camp is everybody buying into the defensive end. We’ve got to make stops. I feel like if we can do that, and score in the half court, we’ll be one of the top teams out there.”"

It is awesome to see the Nuggets star player backing the team. The Nuggs are expecting to bounce back in a big way this season, and Lawson truly believes that as well.
