Game time is almost here, Nuggets fans. Cleveland Cavaliers at Denver Nuggets! Maybe it’s because LeBron James is coming to town. Maybe it’s because this is the Nuggets’ first big game on ESPN this season. Maybe it’s because it’s a Friday night game and fans are going to be turnt up! Whatever it is, the excitement around this game is huge and all we can do now is sit back and hope it lives up to the hype. Oh, and a Nuggets home victory wouldn’t be too bad either.

The Denver Nuggets official YouTube channel posted this pre-game preview, and it gives a nice look at what the players expect from tonight’s matchup. Ty Lawson gets it right, saying he doesn’t want the Nuggets to lose this game, drop the next three, and end up 1-7 trying to find a backdoor into the playoffs. Now is the time to get it together and start to establish this team’s identity as a legitimate contender in the Western Conference.

LeBron and the Cavs are hungry for a win, too, and they are looking to come in and play a complete game against the struggling Nuggets. Kyrie Irving knows that one of the keys to a Cavs win is getting the ball out of the hands of Lawson and force long jumpers from the rest of the Nuggets squad.

Stick around for the end of the video when Brian Shaw uses the sneaker off his foot to make a great analogy about how The Big Three can’t win games by themselves. It’s actually a pretty insightful moment.

Let’s go, Nuggets!
