Breaking: Timofey Mozgov To Cleveland
Timofey Mozgov could be headed out the door sooner rather than later. ESPN is currently reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers are in advanced discussions with the Nuggets to acquire the big fella.

While it will be bittersweet to see Mozzy go, picking up two future first round picks could end up being very valuable. It will be interesting to see how this story progresses.

Cleveland will send Denver two picks that it controls via Memphis and Oklahoma City, league source tells Yahoo. No other players in deal.

Protections on Cleveland first-round to Denver via OKC: 1-18 in 2015, 1-15 in '16; 1-15 in 2017. After '17, it becomes two seconds.

Just yesterday, I wrote about why I didn’t want to see Mozgov traded, and here’s what I speculated about what the Nuggets would get in return:
"Maybe the Cavs want to offer up draft picks instead. Oh wait, all they really have on the table are a couple of conditional first rounders in next year’s draft. Those could be tempting for the Nuggets, since they don’t have a first-round pick in 2015, but I find it hard to believe Cleveland would include a first-round pick in a deal for Mozgov."
That just shows how bad the Cavs wanted Mozgov. Not only were they willing to part with one first-round pick, but TWO! Craziness. If this goes through as it appears it will, it could be the first domino to fall as the Nuggets start dismantling this roster and building for the future.
