With the trade deadline coming just around the corner, the trade rumors for Ty Lawson are starting to heat up. According to Chris Broussard from ESPN.com the Lakers have interest in trading for Ty Lawson:

How likely could we see Lawson in a Lakers jersey at the end of this all? That truly depends on what the Lakers dish up in return.

The Lakers don’t have any jaw dropping pieces to offer to the Nuggets. However, the Lakers could offer up Houston’s 2015 1st round pick, and throw in a couple of players to satisfy Denver. A draft pick never hurts, but how helpful can a late round pick be with the mix of average players? Which leads to option of a third team coming to play, or just having this rumor never come to life.

Right now it’s unclear to see the future of Lawson being in a Nuggest uniform after tomorrow. Yesterday, with the rumor of the Bucks joining the conversation, and with the Boston Celtics rumored to be showing interest in Ty, Lawson’s future with the team that he has played for his whole career isn’t looking bright. He has had trouble off the court this season, and now with the reports of him not showing up to practice, it may be time for the team to move on.
