The Denver Nuggets selected three first round picks during the 2016 NBA Draft, and Malik Beasley was on the latter end of those, but could he be best of them?

When discussing some of the mistakes that happen during previous draft nights, Nuggets GM, Tim Connelly, said this, “Some of the biggest screw ups that I’ve been involved with were drafting position.” Therefore this draft, the one certain thing that can be said of Connelly, is that he did not draft for position.

Malik Beasley is the proof. Beasley has a passion for the game of basketball. He said this, “I just want to get better.” We just want you to get better too, Malik.

Beasley is 6’3.5″ standing without shoes. He was just a thought for the Nuggets until he was on the board at 19. The big thing that was pushing other scouts and teams away from Beasley was his injury history.

Beasley is a great player, and he could become an excellent player in the NBA for the following reasons.
