This year’s draft brought the addition of a pair of talented guards to the Mile High City, and suddenly the Denver Nuggets appear loaded with talent in their backcourt.

Denver’s backcourt certainly got younger but also added some badly needed shooting in the draft.

D.J. Augustin was already signed by the Magic, and are we in danger of losing Mike Miller also?

I feel like the Nuggets will hold off on re-signing Miller until well into the free-agency period, so they can evaluate all of their options on the open market. I do, however, feel like Miller’s veteran presence and leadership will be valuable on this very young roster next season.

For the sake of this article, however, let’s focus on the guards currently on the Nuggets’ roster.
