Denver Nuggets: Denver Should Be the New Believeland

The Denver Nuggets have been struggling is the past years, but is it now time to rally the troops for the upcoming season?

Will we make the playoffs this season? Probably not. But, next season the Denver Nuggets could be looking as scary as ever. With young stars such as Emmanuel Mudiay, Gary Harris, Jamal Murray, Malik Beasley, Nikola Jokic– the Denver Nuggets will surely grow as a team this upcoming season.

This is just a little something to prove that the coaching staff and management still have much confidence in Gary Harris.

The Nuggets have been in the slumps since the 2012-2013 season which was the season after Carmelo Anthony left in which they found a way to go 57-25. Ever since that season the Nuggets have seen struggle. They have not had a better season than 36-46, but it is time for that to change.

This is their man. This is part of their future. This is Jamal Murray. He is 19.

With faith in their backcourt, the Nuggets have also expressed how much they are dedicated to Nikola Jokic, who finished a first-team All-Rookie member. Along with all this talent, the Nuggets also have a protected (1-5) pick in 2017 which was dealt their way in a trade with the Grizzles. The Nuggets will most likely get another solid pick in the draft ALONG with a ton of CAP space.

If you combine the CAP space+ the young talent+ the extra draft pick, it is no doubt easy to believe that the Nuggets could soon be serious contenders to rival the worlds best basketball teams.

This is our city; this is our team; it is time to rally the troops because we will soon be legitimate contenders.
