The Denver Nuggets could ultimately see a struggle this upcoming year, but with so much CAP space and a young team, who should they begin to target next year?

The Denver Nuggets, who failed to reel in Dwyane Wade, will most likely be looking to splash their way into free agency next season, and the talent is their for them to do it. The Nuggets will have an excess of CAP space for this upcoming free agency.

Gallanari, who will take up $16 million in CAP space, will have a player option for the the 2017-2018 season. If he declines the option, then the Nuggets will have quite the CAP space to throw around at the top notch free agents. Seeing as they already threw D-Wade an offer of above $25 million per year, the extra money could easily be used for one if not two superstar free agent.

AND, players like Mudiay, Nurkic and Harris will all most likely have their team options picked up from their rookie contracts, therefore, the Nuggets will get them for cheap in 2017-2018.

This free agency class is headlined by Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook, but the rising superstars also in this class make the Nuggets moves that much more intriguing.

Well, without further ado, let us check out who the Nuggets top 2017 free agency targets are.
