MILE HIGH BASKETBALL: NBA opening tip is just around the corner.

It does not seem possible that we are about ready to open up the NBA Season. This is only week seven of the NFL and for most of us in Denver we aren’t exactly sure where the Broncos are heading. So it seems like a fairy tail that the Denver Nuggets are going to open the season and embark on another 82 games.

Maybe it is the fact that the weather has been so warm that makes it seem like an NBA season is still weeks away. Whatever the reason for not being ready for the start of another NBA season the tip-off for the Nuggets is scheduled for 6pm Mountain Standard Time on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

A good start to the season would be a big confidence booster to the Denver Nuggets and their young roster. The schedule has many of their first ten on the road.

Expect Gary Harris and Darrell Arthur to be limited in minutes for these early games as they recover from injury and surgery. So the rotation may rely on some of the younger talent in these early season games.

With all of this in mind it is now time for a look ahead to those first ten games and a prediction.
