Darrell Arthur has been missed by the Denver Nuggets.

Believe it or not, but the Nuggets miss Darrell Arthur. Okay, yes the Nuggets miss many of their key players with the myriad of injuries that have occurred as of late, but Arthur is a sleeper who teams do have to account for.

The man provides depth in the front-court and can stretch the floor nicely. His 3-point percentage per 100 possessions currently sits at about 49%.

He is a big reason that Denver is one of the top 10 3-point shooting teams in the entire NBA. For the season, Arthur is maintaining a player efficiency rating of 13.6 which is well above his career total of 12.2. He also happens to be shooting an outstanding 60% effective field goal percentage.

So, yeah Denver is missing his offensive production at the very least. This season shows Darrell Arthur possessing his best offensive rating of his career at 113 and is averaging a true shooting percentage of 61.6%. He also happens to have a total rebound percentage of 9.7%.

However, the man does more than put up efficient stats. I have said on many occasions that he is the rock of this squad and has a demeanor that is welcome in any locker room. He is a player who is content with not being a star and embraces his role as a key role player.

This is something that is needed on every team, even the best teams in the league.

Darrell Arthur is having one of his best years of his long career and if he can get healthy soon, the Denver Nuggets will welcome back a vital piece of their growing team.
