The Denver Nuggets now have to watch out for New Orleans which begs the question, “Will Denver make another trade?”

The Denver Nuggets have plenty of talent to make another trade. They already shipped off Jusuf Nurkic to Portland in exchange for Mason Plumlee.

However, what exactly are the chances of Connelly making another move before the trade deadline? Many are hoping he performs a miracle and somehow trades for a star to counter the DeMarcus Cousins trade.

Unfortunately, I simply do not think that the Nuggets will make another splash before the deadline. The Nuggets are meshing well as of right now and developing a nice chemistry within their locker room.

They have had many injuries, but once everyone returns healthy, then they will be able to compete with any team in the entire NBA. Therefore, I think Connelly will take a chance on the core that he has assembled to finish out the season and see if they can hold of New Orleans or Portland in the race for the final playoff spot.

Yes, it would be quite the story if Denver made another splash such as trading for a new point guard and/or trading for a star, but at the end of the day, it just is not realistic. Besides, there is still no guarantee that the Davis/Cousins experiment will work out in New Orleans.

Stranger things have happened. At the end of the day, we need to give our guys a chance and support them no matter what.

Besides we have our savior already, and his name is Nikola Jokic!
