The NBA Awards have come and gone and the league and it’s peers showed just how much they hate the Denver Nuggets for whatever reason.

The Denver Nuggets got absolutely no love at the NBA Awards.

On a night that saw Russell Westbrook bring home the MVP trophy and Nikola Jokic get screwed over on not one, but two awards he was nominated for which were assist of the year and Most Improved Player of the Year.

Instead, Giannis of the Bucks got M.I.P., and for whatever reason, Draymond Green got assist of the year. The salt thrown into the wound though was when an overrated Charles Barkley laughed at the notion of Nuggets fans having hopes of making the playoffs this past season.

News flash Chuck, Denver finished a game out of the playoff race. What made matters worse is when Jusuf Nurkic took to twitter to voice his agreement with Chuck through a crying/laughing emoji face.

Guess what Jusuf? You are still an overrated player. Playing with the likes of C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard is bound to make any player look decent. Especially when you were acting like a drama queen on your previous team simply because you are inferior to Nikola Jokic who gave you more than a fair chance to prove your worth as a starter.

The hate for the Nuggets is at an all time high for no good reason and people like Charles Barkley will be looking like fools with their preposterous opinions once the Nuggets show what they are capable of and make noise in the post season.
