Repeat after me: ” The Denver Nuggets were never going to select Donovan Mitchell in the first place.”

The Denver Nuggets have had some misses in the draft, but fans seem to want to overlook the players who have panned out.

If I have to see a “fan,” whining and pining about Donovan Mitchell on the comments section of the Denver Nuggets’ facebook page again, I am liable to chuck my phone across the room. Yes, it has gotten that bad.

Nuggets fans must stop whining about Donovan Mitchell. He was never going to be our selection in the first place, we drafted him for the Utah Jazz.

Not to mention, there is no way the front office is going to do something to hinder the development of Gary Harris and Jamal Murray such as crowding the back court. How about focusing on some of the success the front office has had in the draft?

Yeah, you know that franchise changing center we happen to have named Nikola Jokic? He was a second round steal. Gary Harris was traded for Doug McDermott. A trade which could go down as one of the best in the Nuggets’ history for them.

Oh, and before you get mad at me for lecturing you on whining about Donovan Mitchell, remember, 29 other teams passed up on Donovan Mitchell as well. The teams ahead of Denver could have taken him and the others behind could have traded up for him.

Denver’s fan base has gotten almost unbearable, which is bad since this is coming from a fellow Denver Nuggets fan. Denver still has a bright future with their current core.

I am going to end this article with this, if you are that upset about Donovan Mitchell, then go become a bandwagon Utah Jazz fan.  I know this was harsh, but it was warranted.
