Gary Harris of the Denver Nuggets is on pace to become a top five shooting guard in the West.

The Denver Nuggets could have more than two to three stars on their hand this coming season. Gary Harris has improved every season of his career.

Harris very could have been the team’s second best player last season as he was a force on the offensive and defensive ends. He has became perhaps the team’s best spot up shooter and guards the opposition’s best perimeter player.

Even with the team bringing in Isaiah Thomas and a healthy Paul Millsap, Harris will still make some noise this coming season. He is one of the most underrated shooting guards in the entire league. Not just in terms of shooting guards, but out of every other positions as well.

Granted, the Western Conference has some tough competition in terms of shooting guards. However, Gary Harris has the talent to surpass one of two of them to solidify himself as a top five two guard in the West.

Without further adieu, here are the five reasons Gary Harris will cement himself as a top five shooting guard in the Western Conference come next season.
