Isaiah Thomas finally made his long-awaited Denver Nuggets debut last week. But just 13 minutes was a small sample size. Here are the 5 most intriguing IT lineups once he finally gets fully worked into the rotation.

Well, Isaiah Thomas’s Denver Nuggets debut came and went — with a sizeable amount of fanfare to boot.

IT played well in Wednesday’s win over the Kings, scoring eight points and dishing out two assists in just 13 minutes. He provided a nice spark off the bench — especially for someone who hadn’t touched the floor in 11 months.

But in the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t much. 13 minutes is a tiny sample size for a player expected to play key minutes as the Nuggets hope to make a deep playoff run.

It was a nice taste, but there should be a lot more to come.

Of those 13 minutes he was on the court Wednesday, he played just over one minute with Nikola Jokic. Thomas also shared all 13 minutes with Monte Morris, effectively sliding him over to the 2-spot.

With the emergence of Morris this season, he and Thomas will likely be sharing a lot of court time down the stretch. Thomas will also almost certainly find himself on the court more with Jokic as he finds a bigger role in the rotation.

He also spent five minutes on the floor with Trey Lyles — who will likely fall out of the rotation sooner rather than later — so it may not have been the best example of how he will be used moving forward.

So how will he be used moving forward? I took a look at the 5 most intriguing lineups including Isaiah Thomas.
