]]> Despite rumors from the New York Daily News that the NBA would cancel two more weeks of games, the League held from making any announcement.

Instead, the owners met to discuss revenue sharing which the NBA badly needs. The league plans to increase the amount high-revenue teams share with low-revenue teams from roughly $60 million to nearly $150 million per season.

According to ESPN, eight NBA teams made a combined $150 million in profit last year, while the other 22 teams lost a combined $450 million, for a combined league-wide loss of $300 million.

The players believe the revenue-sharing discussions have impacted talks between the two sides.

The Union and the League will meet again on Wednesday and see if they can come closer on talks of ending the lockout.
